When I'm out in the dark at night I do feel like having both sets of lights on gives me the best visibility. Overall I'm extremely pleased with the setup, the fogs aren't crazy bright but they do throw fairly far, and wide (huge increase of peripheral visibility). If I didn't install fogs I would've went with the Nightbreakers. I will admit I got the CBIs instead of Nightbreakers (4300k) for looks, and planned to balance the total output color with the yellow fogs. On my DD I use Osram CBIs (5000k) and 3000k LED fogs. But what about yellow light, which is easier on the eyes and increases contrast? These cars are tricky at the limit especially when the suspension is upgraded and the tires are very sticky.Ĭontinuing the headlight/foglights conversation: I understand too much foreground can decrease long range visibility by dilating the drivers pupils, if the said foreground light is white or bluish. This can be done by locating your nearest SCCA SOLO autocross. ![]() When you are ready purchase and install the engine management and get used to tuning the engine is slightly more forgiving NA mode.Fuel filter and while you're at it you may as well install a new pump.Repair or replace ebrake cables as needed.Replace the rotten coolant hoses so you don't end up stranded or with a blown head gasket from overheating. ![]() The stock lights suck hard compared to other sports cars.
